Oro

DESCRIPTION:  HISTORY: Oro is a Deity in Yoruba Land. According to the customs and traditions, women are not allowed to see Oro masquerade or be outside during the Oro Festival. 

SYNOPSIS: ORO centers on a lady named Lisa who is married to an affluent Yoruba man named Prince. They live blissfully in the city.  Prince is an accomplished businessman and Lisa is a seasoned photographer.

When Prince and Lisa decide to visit Prince’s Parents it is, unknowingly, the final night of the Oro Festival. At midnight when the traditionalists are parading throughout the village in Oro Masquerade, Lisa brings out her camera to snap photos. The traditionalist, however, become upset and demand that she be sacrificed for seeing the nakedness of Oro.
